Why IV (Intravenous)

Vitamins that are taken orally get broken down in the stomach and digestive track and is limited on how much can be absorbed depending on the health of the gastro-intestinal tract (GIT) (about 50%).

If however vitamins are given via IV it is absorbed at a much higher percentage (90%) as it bypasses the GIT.
